Signs

Some portentous warning signs:

- Extra reinforcement of razor wire around nairobi’s airport (I have seen this before in another country, just before a bloody coup)

- Stock market keeps closing for ‘technical’ problems (Oldest trick in the book. When there is a danger of a run on the exchange, close it down to prevent further trades)

- Sudden drop in violent/armed robberies in Nairobi (Its known that the police and the para military either rent out their guns to criminals or engage in such activities themselves. Now that they have been moved to other parts of the country, the crime has also moved with them)

This a great observation.Things seem to be moving in a terrible direction. Stock market are and will be the worst hit.To make martters worse exit strategy wont work for the poor majority as the bigger fish with the inside picture of the economy and intelligence net have clogged the exit path. All we need is sombreighty in the government ,end to clashes and over a quite a long time maybe five years things will be back to normal.
