Post erection death

Amid all the post-election deaths, I came across this post-erection death in a different part of Kenya (from the Daily Nation):

In another incident, an Italian tourist died from heart complications suspected to have resulted from a sex-enhancing drug. Mr Testyi Erio, 70, was with a woman at a villa in Mambrui when he collapsed. The woman told the police that her companion had taken the drugs. She gave the police some of the said tablets.

An erection

I attended a party with my love, light of my life – mugithi. I got trapped in a table with some of mugithi’s man friends. For some reason heated conversation regarding erections. I am timid by nature and abhor discussing such bodily excitations. I notice a lot of Kenyan men clutching each others hands without hesitation, maybe its normal for men to discuss erections then ?
Only politeness, and lack of inertia prevented movement to another table (who knows what horrors I might have encountered there?). This country confounds me.

(UPDATE: apparently some Kenyans pronounce ‘election’ as ‘erection’ and ‘election’ as ‘erection’, hence the confusion. I am thoroughly embarrassed.)
