Public Interest Notice

So the president and his nemesis have agreed to talk.

Since one of the main issues on the agenda is the issue of foreskins, or the absence of it – I believe it is *imperative* for the public to establish without doubt, the exact status of the preputial anatomies of these two gentlemen – i.e. if the president is missing a foreskin, and his nemesis retains it intact.

What if it revealed that the president was not, but his nemesis was, circumcised – would the two then change sides?

A knotty matter indeed, for the highest judge of the land.

Distribution of Resources

In a certain slum in a Nairobi an eminent criminal gang operates with impunity. This gang has its principal members from both tribes : Kikuyu and Luo. So what happened to this gang during the post-election clashes ?

While people prayed for peace on Sunday, and others built human pyramids composed of people from different tribes. In a nut-shell these peace building measures are lip-service at best, gestures that will be forgotten by sundown.

However, the gang in question, worked out an equitable and peaceful way of sharing resources.
The gang thrives by robbing innocents – pedestrians, small shopkeepers, extorting householders and such. Amid all the violence and chaos – they came to a pact: Lets make the best of it. Now when they find a victim, the victim’s ID card is used to determine his tribal roots. If the victim is a Luo, the Kikuyu members of the gang are allowed to rob him. If the victim is a Kikuyu, the Luo members are allowed to rob him. Any other tribe is a feast for everyone.

This is what I call an intelligent and peaceful sharing of resources.
